I started using JAlbum about 2 months ago and it was exactly what I was looking for. I'm using the "PBase" skin with the "alexc" style.

Check it out: http://www.alan927.com/

When I get back from a racing weekend it takes me longer to name the photos than it does to add them to the website; it used to be the other way around.

I'd appreciate any input or tips.

Hi, Alan. Who shot those free-style race photo for you?
They are in perfect size and well centered as well as clear, let alone to mention the skills of those freestyle racers.

By the way, where was this free sytle racing event held?

My cousin has a Canon EOS 20D. It's nice.

Thanks for the eye feast.

I had same problem putting comments on my panoramas

what I did was use JAlbum to edit first of the photos and create album - then use wordpad or whatever to edit that file - like way faster to add text if you have copy paste replace etc tools and the whole lot is on the one page

I took every photo on the site - that's what I do for vacation. :-)

On the first 20 or 30 of the freestyle pictures I took the original photos and cropped them down, so I centered each one manually. I got tired of that and left the rest as-is. In case you didn't notice, a couple of them (in the 60-80 range) have a small rainbow in the lower right corner.

The event was held at Pikes Peak International Raceway in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The main event was the AMA racing - Superbike, Supersport, Formula Xtreme and Superstock, but they had a Kicker-sponsored show inbetween races called the "Gravity Check." I found a great spot to stand and took pictures until my CF was full.

(In case it's not clear - I'm not the subject of any of the photos on my site. I'm the photographer.)

I love the 20D - just got it in February.

The Doctor -

Actually, the hardest thing is figuring out who the subject is in some of the photos. I know all the major racers, but at each race there are individuals who only race at their home track, so I have to look up their numbers on amasuperbike.com and make sure I get the right name. Since the same number can be used for two different people in two different classifications (#36 could be 1 person in Superbike and someone completely different in Supersport) I also have to cross-reference the sponsors to make sure I got the right person. I've come close to making some mistakes - once after checking 3 out of 4 classifications I thought I had the right guy, but in the 4th was a different guy who was the actual correct person.

I guess it would be easier if I just bought a program at the venue, but oh well... :-)

I redesigned the site and released it a couple weeks ago: http://www.alan927.com/

It's now organized into "crowd pleasers" - Crashes, Stunts, Track and Pits - so people can find what they want easily. The skin was also highly modified and looks cleaner (IMHO).

I must say JAlbum 6's Edit tab has made things much easier for me with its ability to edit comments, quickly include/exclude files, etc.
